Expect to step in crap daily. It’s not being pessimistic. It actually makes you prepared for the crap, the bad smell, and the work of cleaning it off your shoe. When you know you will likely encounter the crap o’ the day, you’re better prepared to happily go along the entire day. When you encounter crap, you can then say, “Oh, THIS is the crap o’ the day,” and simply move forward. This is better than acting surprised and letting the surprise affect your mood for the rest of the day.
